Chronic Back Pain

Patient C came to me suffering with lower chronic back pain. Patient C was having to take time off of work because they could not get out of bed some days. Patient C had a back support belt they had to wear all the time and could not stand pain free. Patient C had been to see physio’s, chiropractors and an NHS consultant who suggested a back operation.

Patient C had no feeling in their left foot. Patient C could not enjoy any daily activities with their child and this was causing a low mood. After a consultation, assessment and examination I discovered this was a combined issue affecting the shoulder muscles and back.

I put together a treatment plan and after a few sessions the patient saw a marked improvement and has regularly been coming for treatment sessions.  The patient has only 2 toes in the left foot that they cannot feel now and the patient no longer needs the back support belt.  Patient C recently went on holiday and was able to enjoy a few times on the water slide with their child which they could never  imagined being able to do before the treatment.
